Avocado & Spinach Smoothie - Healthy Green Shake Recipe

Naturally green and ultra-creamy, this avocado and spinach smoothie is sure to be your family’s year-round favorite. This healthy green shake features peppermint oil for a delicious minty twist. For an extra treat, blend in some cacao nibs — healthy green smoothies have never tasted better!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 organic avocado
  • 1½ cups ice
  • 1 cup organic spinach
  • 1-3 drops peppermint oil/extract (make sure to use an oil/extract made for ingestion)
  • Stevia (to taste)
  • Optional: cacao nibs (to taste)
  • Water/Almond milk (as needed)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients (except water/almond milk) to blender and mix until smooth.
  • Add additional liquid such as water or almond milk, as needed, to allow for easier blending.
  • Serve chilled in a glass with or without ice.
